We have established relationships with family practitioners, sports medicine and orthopedic physicians, allied health care practitioners and a large referral base of existing patients.

WHAT WE DO

ProActive Athletic Therapy is a specialized orthopedic clinic located in Carleton Place, which is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Eastern Ontario. We have a well-established and progressive practice that is known for delivering exceptional and personalized orthopedic care that helps people of all ages reach their optimal functional ability and quality of life!

We are growing so quickly that we need a new Massage Therapist to join our team!

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  • Currently in Good Standing and Registered under a provincial regulatory body.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow clinical systems and processes as mentored by Senior Athletic Therapist/Clinic Owner to carry out assessments and treatment programs for our patient to ensure that every patient achieves their goals within the target timelines.
  • Bring positive energy and passion to the team culture each day and demonstrate growth mindset and initiative to ensure that they support other team members so that daily tasks are completed with a healthy dose of fun and laughter.
  • Communicate with clarity, empathy, honesty and respect at all times when interacting with patients, their families and other team members.
  • Accept feedback on their performance and is constantly seeking for feedback to improve their clinical and leadership skills.
  • Execute delegated tasks on time, demonstrates great organisational skills and flexibility to ensure that they are an actively contributing and working towards achieving Team goals.
  • Demonstrate accountability by providing updates on their progression with clinical and leadership learning tasks, enjoys participating and contributing to Team meetings and individual mentoring sessions.
  • Design tailor made exercise programs for each patient.
  • Document chart notes as per standard of practice required.
  • Help create health related marketing content for social media purposes.
  • Clean up and disinfect used equipment and treatment room after each patient
